Casks Flights Llc in Pensacola, FL is looking for one host/hostess to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 121 S Palafox St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

.We are looking for a candidate with a unique skill set, who has VAST knowledge of wine and a willingness to learn and the ambition to develop with a new unique downtown Pensacola wine bar.

Associate - Should have previous experience with a high The volume location a plus. This is a unique position, and we are looking for qualified candidates with a serious passion for all things wine in a fun work environment, with a great potential for growth.

MUST HAVE

• 3- years minimum combined bartender, winery, lounge, restaurant experience. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY WINE KNOWLEDGE, HOSTING, SERVING, OR BARTENDING EXPERIENCE.

Must be 21 or older.

• Flexible availability that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays etc. You must be available to work 3-5 shifts per week.
• A reliable form of transportation or live in the area. You must be punctual and show up on time for all of your shifts.

General duties include (but are not limited to):

Host and/or seat guests

Bus guest areas; removing glasses, dishes, clean and sanitize tables and chairs after guest use, etc.

Maintain appearance of the tasting room & outside seating

Keep glassware clean and stocked

Answer customer questions about our wine, mixed drinks, beer, food pairing recommendations, and all other offerings

Answer questions about our Loyalty membership and special events

Operate the POS system and handle cash and credit card sales

Operate the Enomatic wine system and handle wine card sales and rental cards.

Assist with the opening and closing ongoing Tasting Room and outside seating maintenance and cleanliness

Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety. Prior Serv Safe Certification

Register (bottle,drink,food, sales)

Engage in friendly, courteous customer interactions that exceed customer expectations

Multi-task well, and appropriately manage multiple groups of people/tables at the same time

Share general information about our wines and express enthusiasm for them

Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Work as a part of a team and build relationships

Stand for long periods of time

Lift, load, and carry 50lbs (case of wine)

Anticipate the needs of both guests and tasting room management

Learn quickly and carry out written and oral instructions

Share general tourism information of the surrounding area

Have a positive attitude at all times!

Ability to listen and communicate effectively

Strong organizational and motivational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 to $10.00 per hour
