HOST/HOSTESS

At THE ROCK Wood Fired Pizza, the Host/Hostess is one of the most crucial roles in the guest experience. As the first and last interaction the guest has, you really set the tone for their whole dining experience. We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic hard workers. Bring us your positive attitude and be a part of this amazing team! Come work in a fun, fast paced environment where the music is always on! We are a family oriented, casual dining restaurant specializing in wood fired pizza.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warmly and enthusiastically greet each guest
• Engage guests waiting to be seated, making them feel welcome.
• Provide waiting guests with accurate wait times, and escort them to their table once it becomes available
• Stock and maintain host stand with all necessary tools (roll-ups, crayons, menus, etc.)
• Ensure the best possible experience by effectively communicating with Servers, Managers, and other Hosts/Hostesses
• Coordinate floor chart and server rotation, informing servers of new tables you have sat in their section
• Take and plan for reservations, working directly with management team
• Answer phones in a warm, friendly manner in accordance with The Rock’s phone etiquette
• As guests depart, thank them for dining with us and encourage them to come see us again
• Observe all company policies and procedures
