Job Description
The General Muir Emory Point is seeking hosts, food runners, and cashiers for our deli. If you would like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we'd like to meet you. To be considered for this role you need to be available on weekdays and early mornings. We open at 8am so being a morning person is a plus. Ultimately you will ensure that all guests feel welcomed and have a high quality experience when they interact with you.
Responsibilities include but our not limited to.
- Greet all customers entering and exiting the restaurant
- Have a strong knowledge of the menu items (including allergens) and able to answer all guest questions. Hosts and cashiers help take to go orders, while food runners may have to answer menu questions at the tables
- Cashiers are responsible for cash handling and money management
- All team members should be able to handle high volume/high stress situations calmly and with grace
- Hosts and food runners assist the waitstaff with table bussing and resetting with glassware and silverware
- Inform management about customer feedback or requests
- A positive can do attitude is a must
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $400.00 - $500.00 per week
