We are looking for a guest-focused HOST to join our team! You will be welcoming guests, seating them in the restaurant, and helping ensure they enjoy an exceptional dining experience through: clear and concise communication, friendly and welcoming conversations, in addition to maintaining a clean, sanitized work environment. Exceptional hosts find they feel at-home in fast-paced environments, can quickly build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. You should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities. You rely on your excellent organization and communication skills to bring your best self to work each day for yourself, restaurant staff, and guests.

Our hosts make $13.69 per hour + tips. Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
• Communicate COVID restaurant guidelines with guests
• Provide guests with instructions to access QR menus
• Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work environment in compliance with COVID regulations for employees and guests alike

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant hosting experience preferred but not required
• Friendly and guest-focused personality
• Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance
• Ability to clearly communicate guests’ needs to Guest Reps and Managers
• Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)
• OPEN availability - (7 AM to 3 PM) - early mornings and weekends required
