Responsibilities: The Hospital Entry Screener is a temporary position responsible for greeting and screening individuals who enter the facility, including patients, visitors and employees. The screening process will determine the individual’s eligibility for entry into the facility and will be based on the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines and hospital policy. This position will be required to document and maintain confidential employee medical information and has a dotted line to Employee Health.Qualifications:Minimum:- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English with clarity and comprehension
- Competent in technical procedures including but not limited to obtaining, recording and reporting vital signs with accuracy
- 6 months or combination of education/training/experience
- Relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)
