Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

This caring hospice organization recognizes the significance of each precious, end-of-life journey. We will do all we can to provide an empowering hospice experience to each patient we have the privilege of working with.

We are seeking a talented Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 40 hours per week.

Job Summary:

As a Hospice CNA, you will work 1:1 with your patient to create a caring and nurturing environment, ensuring each patient’s specific care plan is followed. In addition, to assisting with activities of daily living, you will be a vital guide for patients and their family members on their hospice journey.

Qualifications:

• A passion for hospice care and the ability to build relationships with both patients and their family members
• The ability to work efficiently with little direct supervision
• A valid driver’s license and an insured automobile that is in good working order
• You are dedicated to helping raise the standard of quality care provided
• Completed your CNA training and passed your exam

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday; 8a-5p
  • 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks

Work Location:

• Primarily facility based (65%)
• Home based hospice care (35%)

Coverage Area:

• Will be assigned a centralized territory

Compensation:

• Excellent compensation package
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.50 per/mile
