Job Description

HOMEMAKER/COMPANION

As a Homemaker/Companion, your days will be filled with various activities in the client's home, all of which provide companionship and well-being.

We are hiring Homemakers/Companions who enjoy caring for others and maintaining clean and safe living spaces.


We are offering A $700 Sign-on Bonus for this position


Daily duties may include.

  • Interacting socially with the client and/or providing behavior modification activities.
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals
  • laundry of clothing and bedding
  • keeping the client's living environment cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, moping
  • shopping and transportation to appointments (with transportation release)
  • Meet the productivity requirements as outlined in each Homemaker Service Plan and caseload


Other responsibilities:

  • Use household equipment and supplies safely
  • Practice safety precautions and infection control measures
  • Implement emergency or disaster measures if necessary
  • Seek assistance when needed and report any incidents to the supervisor
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients, personnel, and agency operations
  • Participate in required 4-hours of in-service activities and training as assigned
