Leave it to Lesa Senior Concierge Services is a non- medical home care agency serving Cook, Lake, and Will counties. We are looking for a Caregiver(s) for light housekeeping in the Gold Coast and Lincoln Park area in Chicago.

Shifts Available:

• Tuesday 9:30 am – 11:30 am & Friday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (Gold Coast)

Housekeeper Responsibilities Include:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Making beds and changing linens
• Spot clean carpets (if needed)
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Ironing clothing items
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and have replaced when appropriate
• Notify supervisor of any damages/occurrences
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any Agency-related practices
• Water plants

Requirements:

• Reliable
• Listening Skills
• Honesty & Integrity
• Handle basic upkeep and cleaning
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance
• Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper PREFERRED
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented
• Work quickly without compromising quality
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods to accommodate clients cleanliness and sanitation standards
• CPR certified
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• High school diploma/GED certificate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving/Homemaker: 1 year (Preferred)
