About this position
Provides customer service to clients of Blaze Home & Community Services by registering subscribers, scheduling and completing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of home safety equipment.
This position works at various locations in the community. Interviews for this position will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
To ensure the highest level of protection from acquiring and transmitting disease, Blaze Health requires all team members to be fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption from the organization on file as a condition of employment.
What we’ll expect from you
- Receives installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting requests from staff.
- Provides service in client's home per home safety equipment protocols.
- Tests equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Instructs client on the use of the equipment.
- Delivers, replaces, and removes home safety equipment as needed.
- Collaborates with equipment vendor to ensure appropriate equipment inventory.
- Maintains and cleans equipment.
- Enters and updates initial and existing subscriber information into electronic records.
- Provides telephone support to new and existing customers.
- Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
- Demonstrates proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
- Maintains skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
- Understands and follows principles and standards as outlined in North Memorial's Corporate Code of Conduct.
- Protects customer and team member privacy and only accesses customer and/or team member related information as needed to perform job duties.
- Reports violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication.
- Recognizes and complies with legal, regulatory, accrediting and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility.

- High school degree or equivalent.
- One year experience dealing with the public. Experience working with elderly or disabled preferred.
- Excellent customer service and phone skills.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and appropriate vehicle insurance.
Current driver's license in state of residence and acceptable driving record (Blaze Health Standard).
Hours per two week pay period: 72
Shift: Days 8 hours
