Home Health Aide, Home Care & Hospice Washington County

SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Part Time Day Home Health Aide for our Home Care and Hospice division in Washington County.

Possibility of going full time!

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: Ability to read, write and communicate with clients in English. CPR Certification or willingness to attain CPR Certification within three (3) months of employment as needed.

Skill(s): Moderate reading, writing and grammatical skills; proficient in interpersonal relations and communication skills, including pleasant telephone manner and speaking voice; ability to demonstrate competency in required job skills by successfully completing both a written and observational assessment or willingness to participate in related training; ability to work independently and to establish and maintain effective working relationships; valid driver’s license and dependable means of transportation.

Experience: A minimum of six (6) months related experience preferably with an elderly population.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing safe, thorough and efficient home support as planned and assigned by the Client Services Supervisor to maintain or improve the stability of the client, family or household
• Coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments
• Complying with operating policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
• Responding to inquiries or requests for information
• Maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.
