About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager as part of our Home Lending Originations Product Development Team of Capital Markets. This role is the point of contact for the Home Equity Line of Credit end to end product oversight with continued support in alignment with business, product goals, and strategies. This individual may support the design, development, and implementation activities of changes related to the Home Equity Line of Credit. In this role, you will:
  • Review and analyze complex major product features and services, specific to the Home Equity Line of Credit. L ead the design, execution and maintenance of necessary product and policy roadmap in consultation with the Product Strategy team, ensuring changes adhere to investor/compliance/privacy regulations and policies.
  • In partnership with Product Development, implement change delivery solutions for the Home Equity Line of Credit by engaging in assessment design, pre-work activities and execution and delivery for product or feature introductions and changes by further defining gaps and operational impacts.
  • Partner with Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and Business Insights and Analytics on necessary performance analysis, ensuring accurate reporting and analytics support for product and policy changes.
  • Oversee risk management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives for the Home Equity Line of Credit. This includes adherence and governance with New Business Initiatives Risk Management policy, Fair Lending and UDAAP.
  • Develop and maintain a vibrant, long term network of relationships with both internal and external customers and clients. Build and maintain internal relationships with ancillary business groups.
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to present, communicate and advocate with business SMEs, partners and senior leadership and executive leaders to gain key decisions; clear and concise communication with all levels
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Must have experience building and maintaining strategic partnerships to drive results
  • Ability to analyze, recognize trends, and compile recommendations for actions based on findings
  • Must be flexible and able to re-prioritize depending on business needs
  • Ability to work on multiple needs at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with leaders and team members at all levels and cross-functionally within Mortgage
  • Understanding of origination to Servicing mortgage product lifecycle
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
