As a Histotechnologist (HTL) you will prepare tissue samples for analysis in the onsite laboratory and perform high-complexity testing on samples. You will work under the supervision of a Pathologist to process, cut and stain slides to be examined for tissue abnormalities.

• You will pick up gross samples for immediate processing and examination.
• Manage instrument maintenance and calibrations.
• You will supervise pathology lab activities and assist in training of new employees.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an approved Histology School preferred.
• Eligibility for Histotechnologist (HTL) certification by ASCP/NCA. Successful completion of HTL registry within 6 months of eligibility or hire. Continuing education to maintain registry/licensure is required.
• 1-2 years of HTL experience preferred.
