HIM Analyst

We currently operate ten facilities across the U.S. We currently have an opening for an HIM Analyst for our new Acute care behavioral health hospital in Arlington, TX serving the pediatric, adolescent and geriatric population.

Medical Records Analyst is responsible for carrying out the activities of the Health Information/Medical Records Department in the maintenance of all patient medical records information, ensuring compliance will all state and federal laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies and within Joint Commission standards for the quality of patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or GED and equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Previous experience in information management and/or direct experience in a health care psychiatric facility preferred. One (1) year of Medical Coding Preferred

Licensure: RHIA, RHIT, or Coding Specialist Preferred

Additional Requirements: Handle with Care Training within 10 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
