Hemodialysis Tech- Ahuja, Bedford, Geauga & Richmond Float

Provides safe efficient age specific dialysis to patients with supporting technical duties. Patient documentation. Direct patient care, assessment in the dialysis process. Assistance with water treatment, dialysis machine use and other patient care equipment. Patient support and education. Actively participates in the quality improvement process. Involved in learning and self improvement. Patient population consists of highly acute patients, pediatric patients and intensive care unit patients. Role requires travel to UH community hospitals. Role requires taking call, being on call, specific time periods assigned throughout each schedule. Thorough knowledge of dialysis process with a minimum of 2 years dialysis experience required. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies, ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and dialysis machines. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic math skills

High School Equivalent / GED Must have current Ohio Certification as a Dialysis Technician
