Job Description

Help Desk Support Technician

The position of Help Desk Support Technician is the front-line support position with the end users utilizing ACT software applications. This position requires a courteous and responsive approach to all support issues. Maintaining timely communication of issue status with end users and their managers is critical aspect for success in this position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Good written & verbal communications skills
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Advise customer on appropriate action
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Log all help desk interactions in a automated ticket system
  • Administer help desk software
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Prepare reports
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
  • Complete all assigned duties and coordinate with supervision accordingly.
  • Conducting Demo’s and Training Sessions
  • Inventory of installation equipment
  • Assisting Manager with Operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
