The Healthcare Pricing Analyst is primarily responsible for providing support to assigned market segments, including coordination and submission of bid responses and activities related to the implementation of company plans to foster continued sales and market share growth. Works with sales and the sales management team to analyze, quote, and set price points and provides recommendations and tools to make this process more seamless.

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Contracts team with the analysis in these areas with the objective to help the healthcare team achieve division sales, profitability, and corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluate and execute the data analysis for healthcare bids/pricing responses sometimes involving running presentations in front of senior management

  • Compose analysis for defensive bid situations often in very high stakes, short timeframes while maintaining normal service levels on day-to-day tasks

  • Communicate clearly and often to the Product Line Strategy team about the product requirements, cost targets, and customer needs of custom products on RFP’s

  • Actively participate in updating and maintaining the bid tracker

  • Work on bids, proposals, and new business opportunities by working with cross functional teams in gathering all RFP requirements for each project

  • Ability to think critically and on your feet while manipulating reports during collaboration with internal stakeholders where actions and results are expected in a timely fashion

  • Maintain system price files as needed

  • Possesses advanced Excel spreadsheet skills to meet the demands of our customers and senior leadership

  • Owns making strategic product choices on bid responses that enables the organization to maximize profitability while staying in contract compliance

Qualifications Include:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or Equivalent experience. Preferred: concentration in Textiles, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years in a related business role or equivalent coursework with demonstrated ability to succeed. Preferred: 3+ Years with quantifiable results in a related business role or previous experience in a bid/analysis related position.
