The Healthcare Compliance Coordinator, in collaboration with the Director of Quality and Compliance designs and implements a corporate compliance plan and practices activities to ensure that all departments within the agency are in compliance with Joint Commission accreditation standards, HRSA, contractual, federal, state and local regulatory requirements. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position that includes tasks or duties (i.e., driving) that the employer in good faith believes could affect the safety, health or reputation of the Agency, participants, the employee performing the task or others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 3-5 years direct compliance experience
- Minimum 3 years experience managing and direct supervision
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Possess valid drivers license with acceptable driving record with reliable transportation
- Awareness and sensitivity to the cultural setting of HHW service area
- Knowledge of regulatory and health plan quality policies
- Demonstrated, advanced computer skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public
- Knowledge of AZ administrative Codes under Title 9: Health Services
Qualifications Preferred
- Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO)
- Working knowledge of Joint Commission standards
- Five (5) years relevant experience
