We are seeking a HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR in Wausau, Wisconsin for the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Health Unit Coordinator provides support in patient care areas to visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and caring manner.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
- Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training/education to meet job requirements beneficial.
- Two years’ experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
Hours: Full-time, varied shifts, weekend & holiday rotation. 72 hours per pay period. Benefits package available.
