STS Solutions and Training, LLC (SST) is currently seeking a Health Promotion Technician. Position Responsibilities: Provide support to the Health Educators as well as conduct the services provided at the Army Wellness Center. These duties include but are not limited to - conducting exercise testing and assessments, testing Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) through gas exchange, analyze body composition through direct air displacement or BodPod, book and schedule appointments, administrative duties to support Health Educator or the Wellness Director tasks. Experience

• Experience and ability to manage schedules using MS Outlook, electronic medical record systems
• Experience with equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules are maintained for equipment availability and accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
• Experience using the following preferred:
• Direct gas exchange analyzer, ultrasound body fat analyzer, air displacement plethysmography device, indirect calorimetry device, heart rate variability, strength dynamometer, goniometer, flexibility bench, skinfold calipers, weight scale and sphygmomanometer.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications):• Relevant Bachelor’s degree, Master's degree preferred - Allied Health (i.e., health promotion, health education, nursing, exercise science, etc) • Other applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis
