Join the Amazon Payment Services Product team! We are revolutionizing payments for customers across the world, processing billions of dollars in payments in over 150 countries. We build and operate the infrastructure that is a foundation for every Amazon business and power the most secure and trusted commerce experiences.

We are looking for a talented product leader to join us as Principle Product Manager (Technical), to transform the way we process payments for new businesses launching across Amazon WW. In this role, you will establish the product vision, define the product roadmap and own business performance for our payment processing. This role will work closely with the development teams to build new products ad launch new features. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of business and technical teams and accelerate Amazon’s growth. It doesn’t get bigger than this.

You will be responsible for:
  • Managing the lifecycle of payments technology products and features (customer experience, vision, strategy).
  • Owning the business strategy and technical feature priorities through data-driven contributions, working directly with engineering managers, principal engineers and product leaders
  • Identifying new opportunities and potential partners that align with product and strategic growth of the company.
  • Driving product discussions, commissioning market research, usability studies and focus groups.
  • Developing product plans with clear measurable success criteria, using mechanisms and metrics (KPIs, funnels, conversion, awareness).
  • Partnering with external partners to deliver on the product strategy and vision.
Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of stakeholders. You’ll also need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings.

Day to Day:
  • Drive the product roadmap while continuing to identify opportunities to accelerate feature delivery and rate value for clients (internal) and customers
  • Collaborate with internal Amazon businesses around the globe to define solutions to serve their purchase experience and payment needs
  • Work backwards from the customers and internal clients to build, develop and manage the product road-map for your services and features
  • Collaborate with, Sr. Engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to bring new innovations to the platform
  • Define, track and analyze metrics related to overall performance, client metrics, operational metrics and service adoption.
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Experience communicating with senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead globally with influence rather than authority
  • Demonstrated success when delivering programs or solutions for external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve ambiguous problems
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve program success through influence and partnership
  • Experience in product, program, and/or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
  • Strong data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data in order to make data-backed business decisions
