Hatchery Tech / Fish Hauler
Hayward Bait & Bottle Shoppe is looking for Full and Part Time Hatchery Techs who are self-motivated, wants and enjoys working outdoors during the summer, willingness to learn about hatching and raising fish, and can work independently as well as part of a team. Training is provided. Opportunity for advancement into Hatchery Management and/or Wholesale Management.

Job responsibilities include:

· Hauling of Fish from ponds and regional hatcheries.

· Setting of nets in the spring to collect and fertilize eggs.

· Cleaning and maintaining the hatchery while the eggs are incubating.

· Stocking of fry into ponds.

· Feeding fish.

· Harvesting and trapping fish.

· Cleaning fish tanks.

· Pond, Facility, and Truck repair and general maintenance.

· Working as part of the team to get Delivery Trucks on the road

Experience raising fish, operating equipment, or general maintenance helpful, but not required.

Full-time/ Year Round - Part Time Work Available

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
