Hardwood Technician

Job Summary:

Guardian Flooring Advancements is looking to add a technician(s) that enjoys an active working environment, is reliable and dedicated, precise and detail oriented. While experience is necessary, we will train motivated persons.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Transport materials to job site.
• Site preparation.
• Become knowledgeable in installation procedures for different flooring surfaces including solid hardwoods, engineered hardwoods, laminate, vinyl, and hybrid flooring surfaces.
• Master the processes of sanding and refinishing various types of hardwoods.
• Install flooring in compliance to manufacturing specifications, and company quality standards.
• Use edgers, sanders, saws, and hand tools to ensure quality refinish work and/or installation.
• Install quarter round.
• Job site clean up.

Experience:

• Experience of 1-3 years is preferred.

• Lifting Capacity of at least 75 pounds

Job Type: Full-time (may include some Saturdays and Sundays).

Salary: $12.00 to $20.00 /hour
