Providing local development support for existing and newly nominated business. The main activities of the Hardware Project Leader are:

  • Drive the regular cross-functional alignment between ECU, motor and sensor component responsible.
  • Development and implementation of defined technical content acc. to project targets
  • Risk management within discipline scope and support of PjM
  • Project planning and tracking within discipline scope, cross-functional aligned between the disciplines
  • Evaluation and planning of technical requirements and estimation of effort within project scope
  • Consulting of OEM on technical discussions within project scope
  • Support of PjM in the management of technical issues within project scope
  • Preparation of releases within the project scope (e.g. Level x, QGCx)
  • Occasional travel to Germany will be necessary depending on project demand.

Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering, preference in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • 5+ years’ experience in the electronics-engineering field with automotive or aerospace experience preferred.
  • 6 months Project Management and/or leadership experience working with cross functional teams
  • Experience should include customer focused product development - user and customer experience.

Preferred:

  • Moderation capability/ negotiation capability
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical HW development, specifically circuit design and validation preferred
  • Have a high level of interpersonal skills to work independently and with other team members.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and preferable in German.
  • Proficient with computers and related software, i.e. MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Project, etc.
  • Experience with software packages CANalyzer, CANape and INCA.
  • Proficient with statistical analysis, DOE analysis, product reliability analysis, etc.
