Position Summary:
Provide professional Pilot services to Mountain Aviation clients in a two-crewmember environment, by assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in all aspects of flight management and oversight with safety and client comfort being first priorities.
Mountain Aviation is currently seeking an SIC in Thermal, CA with experience in Target Banner Towing, Stand Off Jamming, and Electronic Attack. Candidate must be available starting April 2021.
Salary: $70-75k/year
Schedule: 30day and 60 day rotations. CONUS AND OCONUS. TDY Missions
Essential Functions:
- Responsible to the PIC on all flights
- Perform all flight duties as assigned by the PIC
- Assume the authority to act on behalf of the PIC when the PIC is incapacitated
- Acquire knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the PIC
- Ensure the safety standards are met at all times
- Apply knowledge of Target Banner Towing, Stand Off Jamming, and Electronic Attack
Additional Duties and Responsibilities :
Work with PIC after completing a flight to ensure that the Aircraft is cleaned and prepared for the next flight
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Highly knowledgeable of the General Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other instructions pertinent to assigned duties
- Target Banner Towing, Stand Off Jamming, and Electronic Attack
Minimum Qualifications:
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid US Passport
- Secret Security Clearance (Preferred) OR ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- ATP
- 500 + hrs Pilot-in-Command
- 50+ hrs GIV time-in-type OR experience in similar aircraft type
- Experience with Target Banner Towing, Stand Off Jamming, and Electronic Attack
Work Conditions:
Work is performed in an aircraft with an on-demand flight schedule ranging through all hours of the day. Must be able to do 30 and 60 day rotations CONUS and OCONUS

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
