We are currently seeking a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated knowledge and experience with both inertial navigation systems and control subsystems. The successful Candidate will provide technical management of suppliers, oversight of design and qualification of a new Control Actuation System (CAS) design for an advanced missile design. Responsibilities will include working within a cross functional team to work integration and interface challenges. Candidates must have a good understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts of control systems. Candidate must to be self-motivated, team-oriented and capable of working with minimal direction. Must have a SECRET security clearance or be able to obtain one.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Candidates must have an understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts of Control Systems and must possess general electrical engineering knowledge
  • Must be familiar with circuit design and components to include electronics testing and troubleshooting
  • Ability to develop system and subsystem performance requirements

  • Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers and contractors in a highly charged environment
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Desired Skills:
  • 3 – 5 years of professional experience in guidance and control engineering
  • Ability to perform requirements definition, design trades, interface definitions, development estimating and tasking
  • Ability to use test equipment to support acceptance testing, manufacturing production and in-process testing, data processing and analysis
  • Experience using MATLAB/Simulink modeling to assess actuator control dynamics
  • Experience in risk management and earned value management.
