The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Group Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Performing a wide range of duties to assist shift supervisor in prioritization, assignment, monitoring, training and certification of assigned staff all while performing routine recordkeeping and manufacturing duties
- Facilitating two-way communication between assigned staff and supervisor while following established manufacturing, operating, productivity, and quality standards
- Leading Tier 1 process, conduct various audits, as well as report and correct all safety concerns
- Maintaining a balance of floor and office time under the general direction of the Production Supervisor while supporting the team
- Various other tasks as assigned
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Two years manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Ability to work all hours as needed including Rotating 12 Hour Shift, weekends, and overtime
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience working in a team leadership position
- General mechanical knowledge in addition to SAP experience is preferred
- Ability to use project priority guidelines in scheduling, multitasking, audits, assigning daily work, inventory control, safety, and quality
- Computer literate
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
