SUMMARY
Supervises and coordinates activities of Team Members in processing scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position include monitoring Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, assuring regulatory compliance, continuous improvement in the protection of the environment, reduction of pollution from the activities within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Monthly Risk Assessments.
• Conduct Safety Audits.
• Establish and/or adjust work procedures to coordinate flow of materials.
• Monitor and ensure that all employees are trained in safety awareness of all routes and processes.
• Ensure Team Members are trained on shipments of waste are handles in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain proper inventory of all deliverables such as drums, totes, lamp boxes, etc.
• Develop and ensure standardized work, routes for all processes.
• Ensure all calls for service are responded to.
• Review all Team Members daily logs for weights, times and accuracy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years’ experience in supervisory or leadership position preferred
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
