Graphics & Signage Assembly / Installation

As an established, growing sign and graphics company in the Middle TN and national market, 12-Point SignWorks (Franklin, TN) is currently searching for an experienced sign assembly and graphics installer to expand our team. Candidate must be motivated, hard-working, and concerned about details and product quality.

If you're a professional, experienced person with an awesome hands-on skillset (similar to carpentry and/or light manufacturing) and who likes working in a fast-paced environment, loves variety and challenges, and who values integrity and a solid team of co-workers, then we'd like to talk with you! The chosen candidate will be part of our production team to prepare graphics/signage for installation and will also help install vinyl graphics (wall murals, decorative window films, event signage, etc.) and dimensional signage (letters, plaques, etc.) throughout the Middle TN area and with the potential for some travel outside the state. If needed, training for installation of vinyl graphics will be provided. Every day is a bit different, and there's never a shortage of opportunities to grow!

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Participating in "table work" to prepare graphics and signage for installation (trimming, weeding, taping, assembly of sign components)
• Installing dimensional letters and architectural signage (predominantly for interior projects but including some exterior)
• Installing wall murals (adhesive graphics), window graphics, decorative architectural films, etc. (some installation and fabrication processes are very detail-oriented)
• Assisting with packaging for secure signage shipment including making custom packaging
• Figuring stuff out - we're problem solvers!

Successful job candidates need to demonstrate the following:

• Must be able to follow/take direction and learn/use best practices for quality outcomes
• Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ideally, this candidate will be at a senior level of experience in order to operate more independently
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (primarily day shifts but will occasionally need to perform installations after-hours and more rarely on weekends)
• Must be mechanically inclined as the job duties will require some disassembly/assembly of signage components and knowledge of power and hand tools. Candidate must be familiar with a wide variety of tools including typical carpentry tools (drills, saws, etc.). **Training for installation of vinyl graphics will be provided.**
• Able to lift/carry heavy objects
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record (preference is for candidates 25+ years old for purposes of driving company vehicles)
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients by phone, email and in person when necessary
• Dependable, professional, and solution-oriented
• Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills especially on site under pressure
• Demonstrates extreme pride of workmanship and attention to detail - someone who likes to create a “Wow!” experience for their customers
• Must arrive to work on time and ready to work every day with a clean attire and appearance
