Granite Polisher

• Establishing and maintaining service excellence, arrive on time, properly polish and laminate stone countertops and other materials that are requested. Fabricate by hand all cutouts including sinks, cooktops, outlets, etc., Always clean up the shop during downtime and keep a tidy and organized workspace.
• Maintain a professional work environment by treating your colleagues and manager with care.
• Assist with any tasks associated with general shop upkeep including but not limited to assisting with moving around slabs and remnants, disposal of trash and stone scraps, sweeping/clearing of debris, notifying the head fabricator/shop manager of low inventory for parts or any failing equipment.
• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment while fabricating or polishing including but not limited to protective gown, and gloves, ventilation mask, boots, and appropriate clothing with long pants and sleeves.
• Fix minor problems that might occur, and bring major problems to the attention of the head fabricator/shop manager and Richstone’s general manager.

• Assisting with large and difficult pieces to install in clients' homes. Complete respect and professionalism is expected while in front of any customer.
• Must be available to work varied hours/days to meet our operation requirements (evenings, early mornings, and Saturdays). Visit customers' job site as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule with the fabricator, installers, and other polishers to establish good communication and timely finished job delivery. Ensure quality control to its maximum so that the company can produce quality work and service at the job sites.
• Help improve and better customer service of the company. Take ownership of issues and follow problems through to resolution and find ways to prevent future problems through alerting the right people to make a change.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by continuing to learn and seeking help from the head fabricator when experience and knowledge do not align with the job at hand.
