Job Description

Position Purpose:
Responsible for supervising/managing and overseeing the following departments Grand Café, Café Gelato, In-Room Dining, Lobby Lounge, and Pool Bar.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide leadership to departments to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Communicate goals and objectives effectively and inspire employees to achieve those goals.
  • Sell concepts and ideas to management, peers and employees.
  • Instill guest service attitude in all employees.
  • Fully understands the menu and wine list. From the standpoint of ingredients and preparation of the dishes to the delivery and service expected to accompany the dish.
  • Direct and consistent communication with the culinary and management team.
  • Listens to and resolves customer complaints regarding service, product and personnel.
  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets including scheduling, cost control, guest relations and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
  • Requires a minimum of 1 year restaurant and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
