Salary: $3,863 - $4,200 per month + benefits including fully paid family health insurance
Summary of WorkThe successful candidate will work out of their home and be required to live in within the south-east part of the state.
Conduct onsite inspections consisting of company/ business financial operations, measuring grain on hand, and the physical inspection of grain warehouse facilities.
Work with the grain industry, state and federal agencies, and the general public on regulated grain matters.
Apply relevant state laws, business practice principles, rules and policies.
Work with insolvency case activities including records review and reconstruction, grain asset liquidation, and testifying at insolvency and bankruptcy hearings.
Assist in the handling of consumer inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Ag Business, Agriculture, or related field; OR
- High school diploma (or GED) and four years of work experience in the grain industry.
Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to work without direct supervision and maintain a valid driver's license. Overnight travel and travel throughout North Dakota is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge or work experience with grain elevators financials.
- Work experience with mathematic and accounting principles.
- Work experience reconciling financial reports.
- Regulatory work experience including sampling principles and methods, physical inspection, and document review.
- Work experience preparing and proofreading documents.
- Work experience processing and maintaining information in a database.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
