Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
Position SummaryThe University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry is recruiting for Graduate Program Director of Endodontics in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health. The rank, salary, and responsibilities will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic accomplishments. The successful candidate will be expected to serve in the administrative role as the Graduate Program Director of Endodontics, which includes resident recruitment, developing schedules, didactic programs, and all other duties associated with the three years master’s degree Endodontics Graduate Program. Additionally, the candidate will participate in teaching pre-doctoral students; participate in research and publish in peer-reviewed journals; participate in duties consistent with School and University requirements for performance, scholarship; and participate in the Dental Faculty Practice.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsThe candidate must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, advanced training in Endodontics, and be Board-eligible or certified.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceSignificant clinical and academic experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and collegiality are required. Leadership, administrative, supervisory, and CODA accreditation experiences are preferred.
