Job Description:
This position supports Global Payment Operations, which facilitates the processing of Wire and ACH payments at Bank of America. The candidate will have responsibility for a variety of data analysis, workforce capacity planning, forecasting, and other activities in support of our global operations teams.
Global Payment Operations (GPO) plays a key role supporting Wire and ACH payment processing at Bank of America. This position supports GPO’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) team, which has responsibility for a variety of reporting, data analytics, workforce capacity planning, business resiliency, and business support management activities in support of our global operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support volume forecasting and workforce capacity planning for global operations teams involved in a wide range of payment processing functions
Perform complex data analysis to answer business questions
Communicate and present analysis to senior leadership within operations
Establish strong relationships with internal business partners in operations, technology, and finance
Perform reconciliation of data between different systems of record
Required Skills:
Experience manipulating / analyzing / working with large data sets
Experience with common business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis
Strong attention to detail; exercise strong quality control over own work
Ability to balance multiple needs, requests and goals
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with a high proficiency in Excel
Strong quantitative and analytical abilities (turn data into actionable information)
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audience levels
Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative environment
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
Desired Skills:
Business knowledge around international or US payment activity (Wire and ACH)
Experience performing workforce capacity planning and activity-based costing analysis
Experience with statistical forecasting and linear regression models
Experience with Bank of America Model Risk Management (MRM)
Experience writing SQL for data extraction, mining, and manipulation
Experience with SAS, Tableau, Microstrategy, and/or Business Objects
Project Management experience
Strong Leadership Skills
Candidate typically has over 5 years relevant experience
