Golf Maintenance Supervisor / Foreman

Sergeant Jasper Golf Club is a public facility that sits on 55 aces of maintained turf and is located in Ridgeland, SC. The course is open all year and is closed on Mondays.

Primary job responsibilities will include:

• Maintain all grounds including the golf course, clubhouse surroundings and other maintainable property.

• Hire, supervise and develop all employees within the maintenance department.

• Coordinate scheduling of all personnel assigned to the department.

• Communicate frequently with the General Manager to discuss activities, goals, plans and member/customer feedback.

• Supervise maintenance and operation of drainage, irrigation and other mechanical watering systems.

• Ensure that the golf course is providing healthy and high quality playing conditions for guests of the property.

• Required to keep all permits pertaining to maintenance department up to date.

• Ensure golf course is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
