This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility.This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week. Relocation may be provided.

The Senior Business Analyst accountable for building and maintaining the relationship with the end user (i.e. Business Team/Customer) for small to medium scale projects. They are responsible for eliciting requirements / user stories and representing them to the Enterprise Solutions Delivery and Enterprise Sustain Services teams throughout the systems development cycle. Will lead requirements elicitation and documentation for one or more medium to large projects with increased complexity.

These roles will focus on our Manufacturing Execution Systems that support our plant floor order management capabilities. These kind of capabilities include scheduling, sequencing, order tracking and tracing, routing and other functions including label printing and gate management. These capabilities will be changing as we move forward through the manufacturing transformation to an all electric future.

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project coordination & execution role for Plan and Define as part of the System Development process
  • Development of business process models, business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional) and product backlogs
  • Partners with business to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans are developed/executed and application is successfully transitioned to production
  • Increased understanding of business issues and data challenges of the business
  • Serves as the requirements liaison between the business community and the IT teams
  • Coordinates with Business on Problem and Incident Management
  • Coordinates project business value/return on investment analysis
  • Supports IT Strategy Development
  • Identifies business strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement
  • Makes recommendations on what projects should be pursued
  • Perform research on new ideas / initiatives the organization may want to pursue
  • Assists with coordination & representation for Change Requests (CRs)
  • Assists with identifying/selecting the best talent. Responsible for directing and prioritizing work, managing performance and providing guidance / coaching to team members. Manages the culture within their team, holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and creates a winning culture.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree required (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience. 7+ years in an applicable business environment.
