Position Summary/Job Description: The Global Warranty Claims Specialist will drive efficiency though the automation of retailer claims processing. They will also ensure accuracy of retailer claims by administrating the audit process within our global claims processing system. Working with local Warranty, Customer Service, and Global Claims Representatives, this position will drive continuous improvement of Trek’s internal claims processing as well as retailer facing claims resolution. Strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for process creation, and a solutions-driven mindset are essential for success in this position.

Position Summary/Job Description: The Global Warranty Claims Specialist will drive efficiency though the automation of retailer claims processing. Working with local Warranty, Customer Service, and Global Claims Representatives, this position will drive continuous improvement of Trek’s internal claims processing as well as retailer facing claims resolution. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a consistent process to measure global retailer claim resolution accuracy.
- Develop and grow the automated claims resolution process for incoming retailer warranty claims.
- Interact with Team Leaders, Managers, and Directors to communicate results of the claims audit process.
- Work with Warranty, Customer Service, and Product Managers to proactively add new SKUs to the automated claims resolution system.
- Create criteria for reviewing new product release BOMs to identifying service material to be added to the automated claims resolution process.
- Provide the Customer Service Team with data to drive enhancements to existing training programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of the automated claims resolution process.
- Engage in continuous improvement and seek to add value to Trek, its dealer network, and end users.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate 2-year degree in business, operations, supply chain
- Or we are open to an individual with related field work without a degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and financials are a plus.
- Experience with Global ERP systems (J.D. Edwards) as well as Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
- Strong understanding of MS Office Suite of tools.
- Strong statistical analysis skills; ability to take a dataset, select sample criteria, and record and report findings is essential.
- Must have a team first attitude and be a self-starter.
