What you'll own:

  • Being involved in all aspects of regulatory affairs including but not limited to formula review, product registration, labeling, market importation, and post registration maintenance

  • Building in-depth and correct understanding and interpretation of foreign regulatory frameworks and all national and community laws pertaining to YL products at all stages of product life span

  • Acting as a liaison to global markets; work directly with regulatory contacts in foreign offices, external legal counsel, industry experts, and foreign government agencies in order to register/notify products and comply with all relevant product laws

  • Acting as a liaison to U.S. and global markets; work directly with regulatory contacts in foreign offices, external legal counsel, industry experts, and foreign government agencies in order to register/notify products and comply with all relevant product laws

  • Working closely with Research and Development, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control to obtain all documents and test data necessary to comply with the regulations in these markets such as product safety, purity, efficacy, and claims substantiation requirements

  • Assisting the aforementioned markets in ensuring all marketing materials (including labeling, websites, etc.) are compliant by completing content and compliance reviews with particular emphasis on ingredient-specific health and nutrition claims

  • Working with project managers to advise on product registration viability and timelines in their designated markets, providing risk assessments when appropriate

  • Keeping up to date on the status of relevant international product laws and regulations through industry media reports, government agencies, trade associations, and industry representation

  • Reporting to Reginal Global Regulatory Affairs Manager on a regular basis on project status, market needs, and corporate challenges

Experience you'll need:

  • Working knowledge of Regulatory Affairs

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and similar tools

  • Skilled in project management

  • Demonstrated ability to manage timelines

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both multicultural and cross-functional team settings
