The Opportunity:

As the Sr. Real Estate Transaction Manager (Warehouse), you'll help fuel Flexport's growth as we continue to add warehouses throughout the world. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Real Estate and Workplace Services, this is a great opportunity to make a large impact within the Flexport ecosystem.
You Will:
- Have a Real Estate and business background.
- Possess negotiation skills, real estate development experience, financial expertise, and legal comprehension.
- Help develop expansion roadmaps, negotiate business contracts and deliver the infrastructure needed to provide best-in-market warehouse facilities.
- Will have a demonstrated ability to lead and direct multi-million-dollar real estate transactions from inception to fully operational.
- You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business, markets and technical challenges with the skill to manage complex transactions.
- Formulating and presenting long-term development strategies for specific markets to senior management.
- Execute on the strategic plan while interacting with internal stakeholders (e.g. network and business teams, design, construction, legal, tax, etc.).
- Involvement in the full construction process to deliver all aspects of a project.
- Preparation and presentation of transaction summaries to the senior management team regarding progress, financial approvals, and overall deal costs/benefits.
- Support multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously.
- Serve as a key member of the Real Estate team in driving our ability to innovate and to produce results.
- Able to travel roughly 25% of the time.
You Should Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in real-estate transactions.
- Real Estate Transaction or project management experience.
- Understanding of Warehouse operations
- Experience with successful negotiations through high-value complex deal structures and delivery of cost savings and on-time deal closures.
- Strong knowledge of alternative real estate transaction approaches, structures, best practices, related development processes, and commercial/industrial site selection.
