General X-Ray Machine Operator (GXMO) - Eastgate, Ohio

TriHealth is actively recruiting for a General X-Ray Machine Operator (GXMO) for our Occupational Medicine office in Eastgate, Ohio. GXMO certification is required to be considered for this position.

As a GXMO, you are responsible for radiological duties of the office as well as various Medical Assistant responsibilities. In this role, you will be cross trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care. will also be responsible for patient related duties, medical record maintenance and documentation, and safety and environmental duties.

These duties include, but are not limited to:

• Work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation, and commitment to quality patient care
• Help patients feel comfortable during the entire X-Ray process
• Perform selected nursing and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care
• Assist the physician in examination of patients
• Interview patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
• Record information on patients' charts
• Prepares treatment room for examination of patients

To be qualified for this position, you must meet these minimum requirements:

• Education:
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in healthcare
  • GXMO certification
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS/CPR)
  • Prefer a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Experience:
  • 1 year of clinical healthcare experience
  • 1 year of clerical healthcare experience
• Specialized Knowledge:
  • GXMO certification
  • Computer aptitude
  • CPR certification
  • EKG, injections, venipuncture, performance of common lab tests
