TITLE OF JOB: General Manager
LOCATION: Attalla, AL POSTED: January 2021
SUMMARY:
An exciting, well established (100) unit franchisee of a national Quick Service chain is seeking an individual with strong financial and business acumen, coupled with a demonstrated record of accomplishment and leadership development necessary to foster the growth of the organization. This individual must have past successes within a multi-unit franchisee and/or franchisor system for a nationally known restaurant company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The General Manager will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- 6-8 years of successful track record in similar QSR/drive thru experience
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.
