General Manager - Golf Course

Responsibilities

This individual will oversee every aspect of the golf course operation and report to the ownership group's managing partner
Responsible for the overall management of the golf course facility encompassing golf operations, course maintenance, pro shop and general administration

Communicate and hold accountable the objectives of the ownership group and be available, approachable and display leadership by example to others
Oversee the management and maintenance of golf course property including golf course, clubhouse grounds and landscaping, open spaces and the equipment used to maintain these areas
Responsible for achieving the highest possible service standards daily to ensure consistency, and promote customer confidence and loyalty
Promote goodwill and exceptional customer service to our guests
Day-to-day leadership of the facility by providing clear direction to staff
Take part in creation annual operating budget
Work to achieve the best possible financial performance of the course by monitoring daily operations and the total revenues and expenses

Ensure policies and procedures of the facility are applied in an equal and fair manner for all employees and guests, in all department

Recommend and/or establish policy and procedural changes as appropriate to support the goals of the operation, ownership and management

Shall ensure that the general upkeep of the building structures and other assets of the facility are in good repair and arrange for all necessary repair work or preventative maintenance to be performed as appropriate in an expeditious manner

Ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility at the highest possible level

Ensure that all permits, licenses, fees, taxes, assessments, and/or regulations of a governmental agency of jurisdiction are in compliance with the federal, state and local requirements

Required Skills/Experience

Experience in golf course management

Able to communicate effectively and professionally in both verbal and written formats

Able to delegate responsibilities, lead and manage a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
