Position Summary:

Drive results that achieve budgeted costs and progress against operational effectiveness of key performance indicator. Partner with division senior management in support of marketing and sales initiatives. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Understand total distribution and store operations, with an emphasis on vendor supply chain programs and manage these supply chain programs to provide lower cost of product
  • Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators, including both cost management and store service, for all distribution operations
  • Provide guidance in distribution and supply chain initiatives with division and suppliers
  • Responsible for supervision of Distribution Center associates, establishing operational procedures
  • Executes all operational day-to-day activities
  • Accountable for safety and associate engagement process
  • Develop and implement operational and capital budgets to include technology, facilities and equipment
  • Oversee, manage and report operational expenses compared to budget and prior years
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; completes performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • 5+ years Logistics experience
  • General management skills, operational experience and knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team and ability to develop others
  • Ability to travel independently
  • Level 12 - less than 1000 associates
  • Level 13 - more than 1000 associates and or multiple sites
Desired Previous Job Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years Logistics experience
