General Laborer

Well-established artificial turf company based in Deland Florida, looking to add qualified laborers/foreman to our team. Seeking hard-working individuals willing to learn the trade of repairing, maintaining, and installing all aspects of artificial turf.

Daily duties include:

• Job sites throughout Florida
• Prepare & set up for daily tasks
• Digging, pushing wheelbarrows, laying & securing turf
• Maintaining an organized work site, trailer & warehouse
• Clean and clear work area of debris and potentially dangerous conditions; set up for daily tasks

Qualifications and skills:

• Possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing 40+ lbs.
• Interact with customers professionally and respectfully
• Easily work with and communicate with a team
• Desire to work hard and help us excel as an industry leader
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must work overtime as required
• Willing to travel throughout the state of Florida

Experience:

• No experience necessary
• Crew leader/foreman, turf, landscape, grading, or construction experience could result in a higher starting wage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
