This leadership role will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do: Perform as the Missile Deployment Manager for the deployment of the GBSD Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE). Candidate will be part of the Infrastructure and Deployment team (IDT) and responsible for the development, documentation, and execution of installation procedures for the GBSD system missile and associated hardware & software. Candidate will lead a team of installation professionals at various locations where AVE assets require installation. Candidate will, as needed, support System Test activities at various locations. The position requires technical knowledge of ICBM-class AVE components and associated support equipment. The selected candidate must lead a team to develop high quality, safe, installation procedures and implement these procedures at various test locations and the missile field. Candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.The position requires technical knowledge ICBM-class AVE components and associated support equipment. The selected candidate must lead a team to develop high quality, safe, installation procedures and implement these procedures in the missile field. Candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.Additional responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with System Test Team and other IPTs to ensure staffing and performance supports test requirements
- Managing crew schedules
- Driving process rigor, ensure compliance to meet company, program, and security requirements
- Communicate issues and provide solutions across IPTs and other program stakeholders

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science with 7 years of related experience with Bachelor’s; 5 years with Master’s; 3 years with PhD
- Active DoD Secret clearance investigated within the last 6 years.
- 2 years of experience working ICBM-related fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years’ experience managing Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) programs or projects, or Master’s and 5 years’ experience supporting ICBM programs and projects
- Experience leading Air Force Missile Handling and/or Missile Maintenance Teams
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various communication systems
- Experience performing electronic, electromechanical, security and electrical system repair and troubleshooting and coding of the ICBM weapon system
- Power, Refrigeration and Electrical (PREL) section experience. Relevant experience inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing ICBM weapon system environmental control systems, power systems, electrical systems, support equipment, test equipment, and managing battery replacement programs, and maintaining special purpose vehicles.

- Experience with all contract types (FFP, CPxx, T&M, etc.)

Salary Range: 121000 - 182000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
