Gardener, Laborer, Horticulturist

Bloem is a long standing professional garden maintenance company (Established in 2000) and we are hiring for the 2022 season. We specialize in design and installation of flowerbeds and containers as well as garden and container maintenance. This position is seasonal, full-time, Monday through Friday from Mid March to late November possibly late December. We are looking for someone with gardening knowledge such as proper pruning techniques, weed and insect identification, plant identification and knowledge of planting trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals however we are will to train the right candidate.

Applicant must:

*Have excellent communication skills and be presentable and well groomed

*Have reliable transportation. Being late is not an option

*Be a self starter with excellent time management skills

*Be drug free

*Be willing to work hard in outside elements for 8 hours a day.

*Work requires extended bending and working on knees.

*Be able to work in a team as well as individually

*Have a passion for Gardening with strong attention to detail and design skills

*Be able to lift 50+ Lbs

*Be able to work longer days and weekends if days are missed Monday through Friday due to snow or Rain.

Work hours are generally from 7AM to 3:00 PM. On colder days, work may begin later and end later. On Rain or Snow days, there may be no work but hours can be made up on weekends if mutually agreed upon. Pay is based on experience. This is a non smoking environment. This position is seasonal with incentives to return the following year. As the season begins in Mid March, we will start later in the morning and end later in the day. It all depends on the temps.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

All employees must have a reliable car as we drive seperately due to Covid-19 . Millage is re-embursed if properly tracked.
