Garden Center Waterer

Job Summary

This is a part-time, seasonal position.

The garden center waterer waters the garden center and other display live plants on a directed cycle and utilizing established techniques and standards. Participates in garden center plant and facility maintenance and provides garden center customer service.

Responsibilities

• Waters garden center and other display live plants on a directed cycle and utilizing established techniques and standards
• Participates in garden center plant and facility maintenance.
• Provides garden center customer service
• Unloads and merchandises live plant deliveries
• Loads customer orders

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Demonstrated a knowledge and interest in live plants.
• The knowledge, or learning capacity for executing special watering techniques.
• The ability to interact successfully with customers and co-workers.
• The ability to continuously hold a hose and stand on a concrete floor during shift.
• The ability to pass a post offer, pre-employment drug screen
