Funeral Director /Mortician

Family Owned Funeral Home looking for a licensed funeral director, or an apprentice to join our family team.

In our large beautiful stae of Montana. Our state has reciprocity and is a dualy licensed state with the licensee being a funeral director and embalmer, in other words a mortician.

We currently have three locations and serve many different cultures.

The employee needs to be versitile, adaptable, able to think on their feet, and not afraid to ask for advice or help. Would appreciate applicant to have a compassionate heart for the tough career path that we all call funeral service. Be organized and detail oriented. Families get one chance to have a service for their loved one. We need to ensure we are working at the highest standard in order to provide the best service for the family. We are willing to train an apprentice, however our state requires licensure for either option.

Once joining the team there will be a flexible work schedule, rotation with weekends available to be rotated off and away from the funeral home 1 to 2 times a month. We have a SEP Retirement program that is funded by the employer. We have housing available, or we can help guide you to find your own. We are 40 miles from the Canadian Border so we do some international work, we also serve our Native American Tribes of which there are three, our Hutterite Colonies, and our other community members.

We have a crematory, we work with many different cemeteries, and we travel a lot due to the vast area of the state.
