Full Time Sales Associate

We're looking for helpful associates who enjoy problem solving and working with others. Someone who is self motivated, organized and able to multi-task. Weekly schedules will include working one weekend day and one closing shift (till 7pm). Sales associate responsibilities include:

• Create a positive, inviting and safe environment for customers and employees.
• Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.
• Be professional in appearance and actions.
• Provide a positive representation of Arjay Ace Hardware.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
• Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.

Education/Training
High School or GED equivalent.

Experience
Formal retail experience or experience in any related field (electrical, plumbing, building etc.) preferred.

Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing.
