Who We Are:
Leaf Medical is a three-location, primary care practice. We have internal medicine, family medicine, and pediatric doctors. We offer primary care, pediatric care, as well as women's primary care. We are IN-Network with the PPO, EPO, and HMO plans of the 5 major insurers: Aetna, BCBS, CIGNA, Oxford, and United Healthcare.

Who We Are Looking For:
Someone who values the importance of each of the following tasks, and does them with precision, consistency, and reliability:
- Updating doctors on EHR about patient status
- Entering patient information and explaining office policies
- Phlebotomy, administering vaccines, performing EKG's and PFT's, acquiring vitals, escorting patients
- Scheduling patients, collecting copays/fees, greeting patients upon entry, answering phones, verifying insurances/eligibility
- Cross coverage for front and back offices
- Collecting lab specimens and coordinating lab pick up, ordering labs for the doctor
- Following up billing questions, pre-authorization
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Medical Assistant certificate and Phlebotomy certificate required, or LPN clinical program certification
High School Diploma Required
2+ Years of Experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Positive attitude and a patient centric approach
Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
