Central New Jersey-based early education school is looking to hire a full-time Kindergarten teacher. Our program follows the New Jersey State Standards for Kindergarten. Duties
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Meet the individual needs of the children by utilizing a variety of learning modalities in each lesson
- Implement our proprietary Curriculum, in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Participation in staff and training meetings
- Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including apps, conferences and personal discussions.
Requirements
- 2 years of professional teaching experience
- Applicants to hold a New Jersey Teaching certification (not required but preferred)
- CPR and First Aide certification (preferred)
- Must meet state specific guidelines and certifications
